Higher Resource Limits for Cloudflare Containers

Cloudflare has substantially increased the resource limits for its Containers platform, enabling developers to run significantly larger and more complex workloads at scale.

New Limits

The platform now supports:

  • Memory: 6TiB per concurrent live container instances (up from 400GiB)
  • vCPU: 1,500 (up from 100)
  • Disk: 30TB (up from 2TB)

This represents a 15x increase across all major resource dimensions.

What This Enables

With these expanded limits, developers can now concurrently run:

  • 15,000 instances of the lite instance type
  • 6,000 instances of the basic type
  • 1,500+ instances of standard-1
  • 1,000+ instances of standard-2

Next Steps

Review the Limits documentation for detailed information on available instance types and how these new limits apply to your workloads.
