Enhanced Logo Matching for Brand Protection

Cloudflare has significantly upgraded its Logo Matching capabilities within the Security Center's Brand Protection feature. The system previously detected only near-perfect (100%) matches, but now uses a redesigned matching model that captures a much wider range of brand asset variations and sophisticated impersonations.

What's New

Configurable match thresholds allow security teams to set a minimum match score starting at 75% when creating logo queries. This flexibility enables detection of both subtle variations and high-quality impersonations that would previously slip through detection.

Visual match scores are now displayed directly in the results table as color-coded lozenges, indicating the exact percentage match and severity level at a glance. Direct logo previews in the Cloudflare dashboard provide quick visual verification of potential infringements, similar to string match functionality.

The enhanced system helps security teams expose sophisticated impersonators who alter logos to bypass basic detection filters. The visual severity indicators and color-coded results significantly reduce triage time, allowing teams to prioritize the most relevant threats immediately rather than manually reviewing all matches.
