Dashboard Navigation and Accessibility

Cloudflare has given its AI products dedicated prominence in the dashboard with a new top-level AI section in the sidebar navigation. This makes AI Gateway and Workers AI features more discoverable without requiring developers to navigate through multiple menu levels. The update also includes improved keyboard navigation and sorting/filtering components, particularly on the Workers AI models page, making the platform more accessible to all users.

Streamlined Onboarding

Getting started with AI Gateway is now faster with an improved onboarding flow. When creating your first gateway, developers see:

• Their gateway's OpenAI-compatible endpoint immediately
• Step-by-step configuration guidance
• Helpful prompts in the Playground
• Clear next steps if no requests have been made yet

Code examples have been consolidated into a single view with dropdown selectors for API type, provider, SDK, and authentication method, letting developers customize exactly what they need from one place.

Route Builder and Analytics Improvements

The dynamic routing feature receives several enhancements:

• Performance: The route builder is now more responsive and performant
• Usability: One-click copying of route names to clipboard
• Integration: Code examples now use the Universal Endpoint format for easier application integration

Cost analytics have also been refined to accurately display small monetary values in charts, enabling precise spending tracking at any scale.
