New ASPA Capabilities in Cloudflare Radar

Cloudflare Radar now tracks Autonomous System Provider Authorization (ASPA) deployment insights, offering network operators unprecedented visibility into ASPA object adoption and verification across the internet's routing infrastructure.

New API Endpoints

Developers and network operators can now access ASPA data programmatically through three new API endpoints:

  • /bgp/rpki/aspa/snapshot — Retrieve current or historical ASPA objects
  • /bgp/rpki/aspa/changes — Track modifications to ASPA objects over time
  • /bgp/rpki/aspa/timeseries — Access ASPA object counts as time-series data

These endpoints integrate into Radar's existing BGP and RPKI infrastructure, allowing automation and integration into existing monitoring systems.

Enhanced Dashboard Visualizations

The global routing page now displays:

  • ASPA Deployment Trend — A daily-granularity chart showing cumulative ASPA object adoption over time
  • ASPA Objects Table — Searchable list of active ASPA objects by ASN or AS name

Country and region-specific routing pages include a new ASPA Deployment Rate widget showing the adoption percentage for ASNs registered in that geography.

On individual AS routing pages, the connectivity table now marks ASPA-verified upstreams with checkmarks, includes a dedicated ASPA upstreams table, and displays a daily-granularity timeline of ASPA changes.

Next Steps

Network operators can explore the new ASPA data on Radar's routing page or integrate the new API endpoints into operational dashboards for monitoring BGP security posture across their networks.
