URL Scanner Enhancements on Cloudflare Radar
Cloudflare has shipped several quality-of-life improvements to its Radar URL Scanner tool that enhance reporting capabilities and data accessibility.
New Capabilities
- Live screenshots: The summary card now includes an option to capture a live screenshot of scanned URLs on demand using Cloudflare's Browser Rendering API
- Export options: Users can now download scan reports as print-optimized PDFs aggregating all tabs (Summary, Security, Network, Behavior, and Indicators) or export raw scan data as JSON for programmatic processing
- Improved layout: The summary view has been redesigned with page information and security details displayed side-by-side with screenshots, with responsive design for narrower viewports
- Enhanced file tracking: File downloads are now displayed in a dedicated card with expandable rows showing source URLs and SHA256 hashes
- Network details: The Network tab includes additional IP address information captured during scans

These improvements make URL Scanner reports easier to share with stakeholders and integrate into security workflows.
