Cloudflare Tunnel management now available in core dashboard
Tunnel Management Now in Core Dashboard
Cloudflare has brought Tunnel management to its main Dashboard, moving beyond the Cloudflare One platform. Developers can now access the full Tunnel experience at Networking > Tunnels in the core Dashboard, streamlining workflows for those securing origin servers and public applications.
Key Capabilities
The new dashboard experience includes:
- Full lifecycle management: Create, configure, delete, and monitor Tunnels from a single interface
- Native integrations: Select Tunnels by name when setting up DNS records and Workers VPC connections—eliminating manual UUID copying
- Real-time monitoring: Track replica health status and Tunnel availability directly in the dashboard
- Unified routing map: Manage all ingress routes (public applications, private hostnames, private CIDRs, and Workers VPC services) from an interactive interface
Dashboard Selection Guide
Use the Core Dashboard (Networking > Tunnels) for:
- Securing origin servers and public applications with CDN, WAF, Load Balancing, and DDoS protection
- Connecting Workers to private services via Workers VPC
Use the Cloudflare One Dashboard (Zero Trust > Networks > Connectors) for:
- Implementing Zero Trust access policies on public applications
- Managing private application access
- Building private mesh networks
Both dashboards provide complete Tunnel functionality—choose based on your primary use case and workflow.
