Cloudflare WAN dashboard now displays Anycast IPs for tunnels
Improvement to Cloudflare WAN Dashboard
Cloudflare WAN has enhanced its tunnel configuration interface to display Anycast IP addresses directly in the dashboard. This update removes friction from the tunnel setup process for customers configuring IPsec and GRE connections.
What Changed
The dashboard tunnel configuration form now pre-loads Anycast IP addresses automatically. Previously, customers had to retrieve these addresses through one of two methods:
- Receiving them during the onboarding process
- Making API calls to fetch them manually
Benefits
This change addresses a real pain point in tunnel configuration:
- Reduced setup friction: Addresses are immediately visible without requiring API calls
- Fewer configuration errors: Pre-populated values minimize typos and mistakes
- Improved UX: Streamlined workflow for new tunnel deployments
Action Required
None. This feature is automatically available to all Cloudflare WAN customers. Anycast IPs will appear in the tunnel configuration form without any additional steps.
For detailed guidance on configuring your tunnel endpoints, see the Configure tunnel endpoints documentation.
