Windows WARP Client Version 2026.3.566.1 Now Available

A new beta release of the Cloudflare WARP client for Windows is now available on the beta releases downloads page.

Key Changes

User Interface Redesign The most prominent change in this release is a brand new visual style for the client interface. The redesign modernizes the Cloudflare One Client with several UX improvements:

  • Connectivity management converted from a toggle to a button for clearer state indication
  • Connectivity settings now displayed on the home screen for quicker access
  • New collapsible navigation bar that expands to show additional client information including connectivity status, settings, and device profile details

Technical Improvements

  • Consumer vs. Enterprise CLI: Consumer-only CLI commands are now clearly distinguished from Zero Trust commands to prevent confusion
  • Enhanced Diagnostics: Detailed QUIC connection metrics added to diagnostic logs for improved troubleshooting capabilities
  • Congestion Control: Switched tunnel congestion control algorithm to Cubic for improved reliability across all platforms
  • Tunnel Statistics: Added monitoring for tunnel statistics collection timeouts

Bug Fixes

This release addresses multiple critical issues affecting connectivity and stability:

  • Fixed packet capture failures on tunnel interfaces when renamed by SCCM VPN boundary support
  • Fixed unnecessary registration deletion triggered by RDP connections in multi-user mode
  • Resolved increased tunnel interface startup time caused by race conditions between duplicate address detection and NetBT disabling
  • Fixed tunnel connection failures when system DNS search lists contain unexpected characters
  • Improved proxy mode stability to prevent client unresponsiveness due to upstream connection timeouts
  • Fixed emergency disconnect state incorrectly persisting after switching organizations
  • Fixed spurious managed network detection checks when no network is available

Known Issues

Several known issues remain in this beta release:

  • Client may unexpectedly terminate during captive portal login (workaround: use web browser for authentication)
  • Microsoft Edge data directory error during captive portal login (benign, can be dismissed)
  • Client may become stuck in "Connecting" state (reconnect via Disconnect/Connect)
  • Empty white screen after device wake from sleep (exit and relaunch to fix)
  • Windows 11 24H2 users may experience performance issues—update to KB5062553 or later
  • DNS resolution issues in Secure Web Gateway mode with custom DNS servers
