Cursor Adds Computer Use to Cloud Agents, Enabling Self-Testing and Demo Recording
Computer Use for Cloud Agents
Cursor has expanded its cloud agents with a new computer use capability that allows agents to directly interact with the software they build. When agents onboard onto your codebase, they now run in isolated virtual machines with full development environments, enabling them to test changes in real-time without manual intervention.
Key Capabilities
- Automated Testing & Demos: Agents can execute and test the code they create, generating video recordings and screenshots to demonstrate their work
- Rich Artifacts: Cloud agents produce merge-ready pull requests bundled with comprehensive artifacts (videos, screenshots, and logs) for rapid review and validation
- Multi-Platform Access: The feature is integrated across Cursor's entire ecosystem including web, desktop, mobile, Slack, and GitHub integrations
