Cursor launches cloud agents with computer use capabilities for automated testing and demos
New Computer Use Capability
Cursor has expanded its cloud agent functionality to include computer use—the ability for agents to directly interact with and test the software they create. This capability enables agents to validate changes, run tests, and demonstrate their work without manual intervention.
How It Works
Each cloud agent operates in its own isolated virtual machine with a complete development environment pre-configured. When agents complete code changes, they can:
- Execute and test the software they've written
- Capture videos and screenshots of their work
- Generate comprehensive logs of all actions taken
- Produce merge-ready pull requests with attached artifacts
Availability and Access
Cloud agents with computer use are available across Cursor's full platform:
- Web interface
- Desktop application
- Mobile apps
- Slack integration
- GitHub integration
