Images in Agent Sessions

GitHub Copilot agent sessions now support image input, making it easier to provide visual context when starting agent workflows. Developers can quickly add images to their agent sessions through multiple methods: pasting, dragging, or clicking the image icon.

How It Works

The image input capability is available anywhere you interact with agents on github.com, including the newly released Agents tab within your repository. This allows you to bootstrap agent sessions with visual information without manual setup.

Getting Started

To use this feature:

• Paste or drag images directly into your agent session
• Click the image icon to upload from your computer
• Provide visual context for your agents to reference when solving problems
