Image Support for Copilot Agents

GitHub Copilot agent sessions now support uploading images, making it easier to provide visual context when working with agents. Developers can quickly initialize an agent session by sharing images through multiple input methods.

How to Use

• Paste, drag, or click: Upload images directly into agent sessions using any of these three methods
• Works across github.com: The feature is available wherever agents are accessible, including the recently released Agents tab in repositories
• Quick onboarding: Agents can now process visual information from the start of a session, reducing setup time

Getting Started

Simply navigate to an agent session on GitHub and use the image icon to add visual context to your conversation. This enhances the agent's ability to understand repository structure, design mockups, error screenshots, and other visual information.
