GitHub Copilot now supports the GPT-5.3-Codex model, available to all subscription tiers: Copilot Enterprise, Copilot Business, Copilot Pro, and Copilot Pro+. Users can access this new model through the chat model picker across multiple platforms.

The GPT-5.3-Codex model is available in:

• GitHub.com – Copilot Chat on the web
• GitHub Mobile – Native mobile app
• Visual Studio Code – Editor integration
• Visual Studio – Full IDE support

How to Enable

For Copilot Business and Enterprise organizations:

• Administrators must opt in by enabling the GPT-5.3-Codex policy in Copilot settings
• Once enabled, the model will appear automatically in the model picker for all team members
• Individual Pro and Pro+ users get access immediately
