GPT-5.3-Codex is now generally available to all Copilot subscription tiers:

• Copilot Enterprise
• Copilot Business
• Copilot Pro
• Copilot Pro+

Where to Access

Users can access the new model through GitHub Copilot Chat in multiple environments:

• github.com - web interface
• GitHub Mobile - mobile app
• Visual Studio Code - editor extension
• Visual Studio - IDE

Simply select GPT-5.3-Codex from the chat model picker in any of these platforms.

Enabling for Organizations

For Copilot Business and Enterprise administrators: You must explicitly opt in to enable this model for your organization. Navigate to Copilot settings and enable the GPT-5.3-Codex policy. Once enabled, all users in your organization will see the model available in the picker.

Individual Copilot Pro and Pro+ users have immediate access without additional configuration.
