Granola launches MCP integration, bringing meeting context to Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor
· featureapiintegrationplatform · granola.ai ↗

What's New

Granola has launched Granola MCP, a Model Context Protocol integration that connects meeting notes to popular AI tools. The integration lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible applications access your Granola meeting context directly within their interfaces.

Key Use Cases

  • Code generation: Pull meeting context into Claude Code or Cursor to scaffold features or create tickets based on discussed requirements
  • Sprint planning: Ask Claude to update Linear boards directly from standup notes
  • Sales operations: Generate CRM entries and proposals from discovery conversations
  • Documentation: Use meeting discussions as context for drafting and sharing notes without manual copying

Getting Started

Claude and ChatGPT: Navigate to Settings > Connectors (or Apps), search for Granola, authenticate, and enable when chatting.

Cursor, Claude Code, or other MCP clients: Manually configure using https://mcp.granola.ai/mcp

Users must be on a paid plan to access the feature. Enterprise customers can enable MCP in Settings > Security; additional enterprise features (access controls, usage monitoring, rate limits) are in development.

Why It Matters

This solves a common friction point: switching between applications to reference meeting context. By bringing meeting data into the tools developers already use, Granola makes it easier to extract actionable insights from conversations without breaking workflow.
