Library: A New Organization Solution

As Notion workspaces grow, sidebar navigation can become cluttered and difficult to manage. Library addresses this problem by providing a dedicated full-page view for organizing and accessing frequently-used content types.

Key Features

Library organizes your workspace content into five distinct tabs:

  • Teamspaces - Access shared team areas
  • Recents - Quickly jump to recently viewed pages
  • Favorites - Find your starred content
  • Private pages - View your personal workspace items
  • Shared pages - See pages shared with you by others

Benefits for Users

The new view enables a cleaner, more efficient workspace navigation experience. Users can customize their sidebar to display only their most-used items daily, while less-frequently accessed content is available in Library without cluttering the primary navigation. This separation improves both usability and visual clarity, especially for growing teams and complex workspaces.

How to Get Started

To use Library, users can access it as a new tab in their workspace interface and begin organizing their content across the five categories. Customizing sidebar visibility is straightforward, allowing users to optimize their workspace navigation to match their personal workflow.
