This allows developers to tailor the Codex interface to their preferences and workspace standards.

The automations framework has been completely redesigned with more granular control:

• Execution location: Choose whether automations run locally on your machine or on a worktree
• Custom reasoning levels: Define the reasoning depth and complexity for individual automations
• Model selection: Pick specific models for different automation tasks
• Template library: Browse pre-built automation templates for inspiration and quick setup
