Domains on Railway

Railway has partnered with a domain registrar to bring domain purchasing directly into the platform. Users can now visit railway.com/domains to search, buy, and attach domains without leaving Railway. This eliminates the friction of bouncing between services and simplifies the process of getting a project live on the web with a custom domain.

Project Dashboard UI Refresh

The dashboard navigation has been overhauled with a persistent left sidebar that keeps infrastructure controls accessible while maximizing workspace. The activity feed, notifications, and the new AI Agent Panel are now prominently featured at the top of the interface. This redesign prioritizes visibility of projects, environments, and services without intrusive header bars.

AI Agent Panel

A new conversational panel lets developers ask their infrastructure questions directly within the Railway dashboard. The agent is aware of services, deployments, logs, and environment status—enabling real-time troubleshooting and diagnostics without context switching. Railway notes that internal evaluations (running on user data without training it) power the agent to perform automated actions within the platform. This continues Railway's direction toward proactive issue detection and resolution.

Additional Improvements

The update includes several polish improvements across the platform:

• Smart Diagnosis now displays real-time feedback during analysis (e.g., "searching build logs," "checking environment status")
• GitHub integration performance improvements with faster repo loading, automatic refreshes, and graceful error handling
• Deployment logs now feature visual loading states and improved streaming behavior
• Metrics graphs now display correct deployment labels in tooltips
• Environment logs no longer overflow and maintain proper streaming at the bottom of the screen
