Sim Studio v0.5.96 introduces enhanced Slack integration and authentication improvements:

Slack Ephemeral Messages: A new ephemeral message send tool is now available, allowing workflows to send temporary messages visible only to specific Slack users. This update includes refreshed CI pipelines and updated documentation.

OAuth 2.1 Provider: Added OAuth 2.1 provider support for MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector authentication, enabling more secure and modern authentication flows for integrations.

Bug Fixes

This release addresses several stability issues:

• Copilot: Fixed handling of negated operation conditions in block configuration extraction, improving workflow logic evaluation
• Slack Events: Corrected payload handling for reaction_added and reaction_removed events, ensuring triggers fire correctly
• Logs: Replaced stale initialData with placeholderData in log details views for more accurate logging display
