Official Claude Integration
Supabase has been added to Claude's official connectors, enabling seamless integration between the database platform and Anthropic's AI assistant. Developers can now authorize Claude to access their Supabase organization and manage their entire infrastructure through conversational prompts.
Available Capabilities
The Supabase MCP server includes 32 tools spanning multiple platform features:
- Database Management: Execute SQL queries on PostgreSQL databases, design and modify table schemas, list tables and extensions, generate TypeScript types for your schema, and receive security recommendations
- Project Operations: List and create projects, get cost estimates, pause and restore projects, and access real-time logs
- Branching and Migrations: Create development branches, merge changes, rebase and reset branches, and manage migrations
- Storage and Edge Functions: Manage storage buckets, deploy serverless functions, and handle related configurations
- Documentation: Search Supabase documentation directly from Claude
Getting Started
To enable the connector, open Claude.ai or Claude Desktop, access the connectors menu, and select Supabase to authorize Claude access to your organization. The integration works on all Supabase plans and is available to users of paid Claude plans (Pro, Team, Enterprise, Max).
Common use cases include asking Claude to check security advisors and fix issues, request schema changes for automatic execution, and deploy edge functions with a single prompt—all without leaving the conversation interface.
