Recraft V4 Now Available on AI Gateway

Recraft V4, a text-to-image generation model built specifically for professional designers and marketers, has been integrated into Vercel's AI Gateway platform. The model was developed with direct input from working designers and brings improvements across photorealism, lighting quality, and compositional variety.

Two Model Tiers

The Recraft V4 offering includes two versions:

• V4: Optimized for speed and cost efficiency, ideal for everyday design work and rapid iteration cycles
• V4 Pro: Generates higher-resolution images suitable for print materials and large-scale applications

Key Capabilities

The model excels at photorealism with naturally rendered skin tones, realistic textures, and minimal synthetic artifacts. It produces clean lighting and varied compositions. For illustration work, it can generate original characters with unpredictable and natural-looking color palettes.

Developer Integration

Developers can access both models through the Vercel AI SDK by specifying either recraft/recraft-v4 or recraft/recraft-v4-pro as the model parameter. The integration follows Vercel's standard image generation patterns, making it straightforward to add to existing applications.
