New Model Available

OpenAI's GPT-5.3-Codex-Spark is now available in Windsurf, expanding the model options available to developers and users of the platform.

Access and Availability

The model is accessible exclusively through Windsurf's Arena Mode, specifically in:

  • Fast Arena battle group
  • Hybrid Arena battle group

Note that GPT-5.3-Codex-Spark is not yet available in the regular model selector and remains limited to these arena battle groups.

Getting Started

To access the new model, users need to download the latest version of Windsurf. Once installed, they can experiment with GPT-5.3-Codex-Spark through the designated arena modes.
