Cloudflare Radar adds region filtering, autonomous system traffic visibility, and breadcrumb navigation

Region Filtering

Location-aware pages in Cloudflare Radar now support comprehensive region filtering, allowing users to drill down by:

  • Geographic regions: continents and geographic subregions (Middle East, Eastern Asia, etc.)
  • Political regions: EU, African Union, and other supranational entities
  • US-specific divisions: US Census regions and divisions (New England, US Northeast, etc.)

This enhancement makes it easier to monitor and analyze internet activity across specific geographic areas and regulatory jurisdictions.

Traffic Volume Visibility by Autonomous Systems and Locations

A new traffic volume view reveals top autonomous systems (AS) and countries/territories for any given location. This helps users:

  • Identify connectivity issues by network provider
  • Understand traffic distribution patterns across regions
  • Analyze ISP performance and capacity utilization

The AS and location dimensions have also been added to the Data Explorer, expanding capabilities for HTTP, DNS, and NetFlows datasets. Combined with existing filters, this enables powerful custom analysis and reporting.

Improved Navigation

Breadcrumb navigation is now available across most Radar pages, streamlining movement between parent pages and related sections.

All improvements are live at Cloudflare Radar.
