Cloudflare Security Center adds match dismissal and filtering for Brand Protection

Dismiss and Filter Brand Protection Matches

Cloudflare has released new triage controls for its Security Center Brand Protection feature, designed to help teams manage alerts more efficiently and reduce noise in their security workflows.

What's New

The update introduces three key capabilities:

  • Dismiss matches: Mark specific Brand Protection results as dismissed when they are determined to be false positives or benign, removing them from the primary triage view
  • Show/Hide toggle: Instantly switch between viewing only active matches and including previously dismissed ones for full visibility
  • Persistent review states: Dismissed status is automatically saved across sessions, keeping your workspace organized

Key Benefits

  • Reduce alert fatigue: Hide known-safe results so your team focuses exclusively on unreviewed or high-risk infringements
  • Auditability and recovery: The visibility toggle ensures no match is permanently lost and can be re-evaluated if a site's content changes
  • Improved collaboration: Team members can see which matches have already been vetted and dismissed by others, streamlining workflows

Getting Started

Users can immediately start using the dismiss functionality within the Security Center to organize their Brand Protection results. The feature requires no configuration—simply mark matches as dismissed and use the toggle to manage visibility based on your current review priorities.
